• 1/5 from Jo Durrance, attended Jan 2025: I was excited to attend what was advertised as a Sip & Paint event, expecting a fun and relaxed atmosphere. However, the experience was far from what was promised. Instead of a lively and engaging class, it felt more like a BYO event where participants were expected to provide for themselves—including, shockingly, their own seating! There were no chairs available, which made the entire session uncomfortable and difficult to enjoy. The instructor’s demeanor only added to the disappointing experience. She seemed tense and uninterested in being there, which set a negative tone for the entire class. Rather than fostering a welcoming and enjoyable environment, she appeared irritated and disengaged. Her attitude made it difficult to ask questions or seek guidance without feeling like a burden. At one point, after finishing my first canvas within an hour, I politely requested an extra small canvas to continue painting. The instructor reluctantly provided one but made a point of loudly announcing to the class, “I don’t normally do this, ” in a condescending manner. This unnecessary remark made the request feel like an imposition rather than a simple accommodation, leaving me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Additionally, the class was told that metallic and glitter paints were in limited supply because they were “too expensive” to use freely. This restriction seemed unreasonable, especially given that these materials are commonly expected in a painting class. It gave the impression that the business was cutting corners rather than providing a quality experience for its paying customers. Overall, this class did not live up to its advertisement. Between the lack of seating, the instructor’s unfriendly attitude, and the restrictions on supplies, it felt more like an inconvenient obligation than an enjoyable artistic experience. I would not recommend this class to anyone looking for a true Sip & Paint event, as it falls far short of expectations.

I promise you won’t be disappointed the wine the company and plus we learnt something as well it was so worth the money.
