It was also quite special to share an experience with like minded strangers who were all so happy to be there, to learn and to interact with one another. I think it’s a really nice touch to incorporate not only a personalised element of paper choice for the covers, but also the small gift voucher to use in the shop afterwards. Can’t recommend enough to those who love books and are looking to romanticise their life a little.

Our teacher Alise was lovely and very patient with us through our questions. We learnt the hardcover book binding process and now I feel very confident in being able to do this process myself at home. Plus we got time to buy more paper at the end using our included vouchers which was great. The atmosphere was very cozy, there was tea and biscuits for everyone and we talked to the other participants as well. The thing I liked the most was how well taught the class was, with each step very clearly explained then a chance afterwards to carry out the steps on our own project. Because of this I really feel I learnt the process properly and could teach someone else. Thank you so much!

I did this course with a friend and we were both super happy with the books resulting from it. I also love the fancy glass dip pen I bought using the voucher after the class

The process including everything from selecting the cover paper to sewing the pages together and everything in between.

The complimentary shop voucher was a nice touch too - such beautiful products in store to choose from. The class was wonderful and expertly lead by Elisa, not sure of the spelling here. The three hours flew by and you concentrated all the way from start to finish. I can’t believe I came home with a finished journal/notebook. Zetta Florence was a stunning place to hold the session and it had plenty of direct light. We all loved it

Choosing beautiful paper from the store was enjoyable and being able to use our voucher afterward was added incentive to practise what we had learned. I also appreciated the detailed take home guide, we were given as a reminder of the process we had experienced. All were delighted with their books. I recommend this class to others- you won't be disappointed!

When he arrived he asked if he could bring the materials home so I could make my notebook at home. He was told they would have to check with the manager and then the manager said she’d let him know later. Halfway though the class she returned and said he could take my one sheep of wrapping paper. He asked again later but was not allowed to take the other materials or instruction booklet. As a chronic illness sufferer I have unfortunately had to not attended other ClassBento classes in the past all other businesses/ teachers have been kind and accomodating sending the materials (that I paid for) home with my person. This class is not cheap class and I think it’s wrong that they refused to let my husband bring home the materials again I had already paid for. We have done many classes at Zetta in the past they had always be welcoming and kind. My husband said it wasn’t like that this time and he did not enjoy the class. This is a shame as I did this class last year and it was one of the best I had been to.

The class was in a lovey location and the teacher gave personal tips and tricks she personally used. If considering to start any type of book making repairs etc. this is a great starter to get aquatinted with the tools and process along with shortcuts or work arounds you might find useful.

The paper (from Zeta Florence’s fabulous stock) is really good quality and all tools were provided. 3 hours was just right. I was really happy with the outcome. Michelle also provided tips for continuing with book binding at home.

The space was comfortable too--tea, coffee and biscuits provided, clean bathroom facilities. I honestly thought I would learn a few skills and walk away with a bit of a shabby first attempt (knowing my own capabilities, nothing to do with the class) but I was absolutely blown away with the quality of notebook we were able to create on our first go. Less than 24 hours later, I have gone ahead and bought the tools I need to start bookbinding at home. Highly recommend.

The class itself was great, lovely workshop and environment, and leaving with our very own book was quite the achievement!

There was plenty of yummy snacks and tea/coffee available throughout the whole class. We all went home with a fully hand made book that we all got to create all of our own - very special. We were able to choose our own book covers from the wide selection of handmade papers that are available in the beautiful Zetta Florence store. My Niece and I had a great afternoon and learnt a lot. We definitely recommend this class and if you love everything papercraft, visiting Zetta Florence is a must.

If you would like to get into making your own books or you just want to do this for a bit of fun, you won't be disappointed, give it a go.

My favorite part was choosing our papers from the shop front. I was impressed with how streamlined the process was with the easy to use wooden templates. I think this class would be great for a hen party or an older kids birthday (12+)

Nicole was a great guide through the process of making the journal, meeting everyone in the class at their level whether beginner or a bit more experienced. The class was a lot of fun, with lots of laughter and stories. The atmosphere really encouraged everyone attending to help each other out and offer assistance. I'm so happy with my new journal, and you couldn't ask for a better location to learn to bind books than Zetta Florence with their gorgeous selection of paper. One of the hardest parts of the class was chosing which one to use for the cover! Would absolutely recommend attending if you have any interest in learning book binding - a really good place to start.

The space has a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere and with a small group size of just 8 attendees you get a lot of 1 on 1 time with the teacher to ask questions and get any help you might need. Getting to choose from the store's beautiful and vast paper selection was unexpected and a highlight. The teacher was organised, knowlegable, approachable and friendly making for an enjoyable and smoothly run class. She had designed her own tools to make the process of aligned hole punches foolproof! I had doubts I would walk away with a finished book let alone thinking I would ever walki away with a beautiful finished notebook that could have been bought in a shop! This class was fun, accessible and professionally run.
