Join this sacred rock painting class in Melbourne!In this class, you will first be welcomed into the artist's sacred space with an introduction to the other participants. Class sizes are small and intimate, as well as all women, so you will feel at home!You will be guided to the informal sitting space, around a coffee table, with affirmation cards illustrated and written by the artist to help you set an intention for today.Feeling settled, relaxed, and informed, you will move to the best part: the round art table.Here, the artist will explain the mediums and materials in front of you, as well as the technique for painting a sacred rock. Any questions? Ask away! Time to do some detailed sketches with a black marker.Now you are ready to choose a rock that calls to your heart. They are found in the ocean and are full of wonder and interesting shapes! Don’t worry, all have been scrubbed clean and painted white before your arrival.With a rock in hand and hopefully a smile on your face, it will be time for you to begin a gorgeous design using cotton buds dipped into black paint. We are trying to bring out our amazing divine feminine in the art, but you are welcome to design your way!All done? Sit on the balcony with some rose tea and a bickie while your rock dries a little.
