The teacher was incredibly patient and genuinely kind, which made the whole process feel easy and enjoyable. We ended up having a lot of fun, and it was one of those sessions where you walk out feeling pretty proud of what you made and the time you spent. Lovely experience all around.

Was a very zen and therapeutic experience, my wife definitely enjoyed all the steps that involved hammering the ring in some way. Hee Cho guided us all the way through, and helped us finish up the rings. Cannot recommend the course enough, and would love to do another class.

• 3/5 from Rachel Colquhoun, attended Oct 2025: Was a good course but I was expecting to be able to do a lot more of the process myself, like cutting the metal, soldering it together etc… the teacher cut the metal pieces for us and we watched while they soldered it and did the things like that. Also was waiting around 40 minutes after arriving at the class time to actually start the ring making process, while the teacher was busy with previous clients. Overall pleased with the end result but just felt like there was quite a bit of waiting around and then the ring making was a lot faster and less hands on than I was expecting. Good for a beginner class though I guess, I was expecting a more in depth course.

I have done textured rings previously but really wanted to do plain, which required extra finishing to get super shiny. Her techniques and info sharing were appreciated.

A small class size meant plenty of individual support for all my questions. There were a surprising number of ways to personalise the ring, and I ended up with something I love with the memories of making it to go with it.

Great to have a few choices to really personalise the ring too, from the symbol or letter stamps, to silver or yellow spinner band, to gloss or matte finish, and smooth or textured.

We were able to make many adjustments and ended up with a class just for the two of us to enjoy our anniversary and ended up with two rings of our own to enjoy. Such a calming presence to learn from, with very simple instruction that was easy to follow. We'd love to join another of Hee Cho's classes.

This was great as I fidget alot and was in need of a fidget ring or something similar. The class was amazing because I have done a couple of other classes with her and she knows where I struggle and how I can improve. I loved the experience and would gladly do it again another day!

Heecho (Hee Hee!) was incredibly friendly, goofy and created a really safe and relaxing environment. Small class size (4 max) was the perfect amount for one on one's and independent creating. We learnt how to create a spinning ring from scratch using loads of different tools and techniques. This was a great class, Hee Cho is very generous with her metalsmithing knowledge. Would highly recommend, it’s a great way to spend an afternoon.
