  • 5/5 from Asta Kvistgaard Aggerholm, attended Jul 2025: I truly recommend Romane to anyone who wants to get better at watercolour and art in general. I learned so much in 1 1/2 hours today, that has improved my understanding of watercolour and how it works, as well as the colour theory behind it, which will be super helpful for any art, no matter the medium. The experience was overall just really nice. She teaches you and guides you throughout the class in a very understandable way. I had a little bit of experience with watercolour and she matched me at the level I was at very quickly and helped me improve from there. The surroundings I are sat in during the class was beautiful, inspiring and calming. I will for sure book another class. If you really want to improve or start during watercolour this will definitely be a good place to start

I'm Romane, a French artist living in Melbourne.
I hold a degree in Applied Arts and History and work as a freelance illustrator and painter.
I’ve been drawing and painting ever since I can remember, but nowadays, I use mostly watercolour and gouache to capture memories from my everyday life and travels.
During my travels, I have taught workshops to both children and adults – and I absolutely love sharing my knowledge and seeing others' creations take shape.
Painting allows you to pause, observe your subjects and focus on a special moment. It's a time for yourself, allowing you to slow down, experiment with colours and put your impressions on paper.
