  • 5/5 from Jo Dandie, attended Apr 2026: Jenie is an excellent teacher/advisor. I received my gift card and made the right choice to do the Japanese art glass course with Jenie. I highly recommend doing this, and as I have no experience at all with glass, or even art for that matter, this was a perfect introduction and I think I’m now hooked. I can’t wait to see my finish product … Thanks so much Jenie
  • 5/5 from Julia Schena, attended Jan 2026: Absolutely loved the Glass Art Class: Elongated Japanese Platter with Jenie. The class was creative, relaxed and so well run. Jenie is an incredible teacher knowledgeable, patient and genuinely passionate about her craft. I felt supported the whole way through and walked away with a beautiful piece I’m so proud of. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to try something creative and different. I can’t wait to do another class.
  • 5/5 from Sheila Veltre, attended Aug 2025: When I walked into Jenie's studio, I knew I would in for an amazing experience. So organised, not only the studio, but her welcome, with equipment & your place name ready to start. Thank you Jenie for being so enthusiastic & engaging. Thank you for generously sharing your knowledge, which I appreciated. No matter whether you are a beginner in glass or someone more experienced Jenie can easily cater for all levels.
  • 5/5 from Helen Thompson, attended Nov 2023: Really fun activity. Jeni’s enthusiasm, encouragement and no drama approach made it a stress free environment to explore and create. Highly recommend this class.
  • 5/5 from Ebony Weibgen, attended Sep 2023: My Mum and I attended tonight’s class with Jenie, and we couldn’t recommend it more! Jenie was very helpful and encouraging, and there were lots of examples to see and hold. It was informative but simple enough for anyone to do, with lots of materials provided. It was great value for money as we could make as many as we wanted. We can’t wait to pick up our finished pieces, we will be returning to try another class very soon! ️️️️️
  • 5/5 from Karen, attended Aug 2023: LOVED this class! I was lucky enough on this occasion to have a very small class size and so had a lot of individual attention. Jenie explained everything I needed to know very clearly and carefully, with a strong emphasis on safety - essential when working with sharp glass. She also had lots of examples of actual finished pieces to illustrate her explanations - both the good outcomes and the ones to avoid. Jenie explained the technique then allowed the student to make own choices from the many options available - so many beautiful glass colours and types. The studio is really cute and very well organised, with lots of examples of Jenie's own work providing colour and inspiration. There are many other classes on offer from Jenie and I am keen to return and work on some more projects. The time flew by today and unfortunately I was having such a lovely time chatting and talking all things glass that I forgot to photograph my workI am excited to return to collect it and see the finished product. I highly recommend this class.

I am Jenie and I am a glass artist, business owner and teacher based in Richmond, Melbourne. My passion is to focus on handmade small batch glass and alcohol ink events for glass lovers and learners.
I have a passion for teaching and making. I'm a very social person and I love meeting new people, teaching others how to create fabulous pieces of glass art and explore alcohol ink, hosting events and collaborating with other businesses in fun and creative ways.
I hope that I can teach you to make something beautiful. You don't need any expertise. Most of my classes are designed for the absolute beginner. You'll love being here. Its relaxing and fun being in this amazing space.
You can create all sorts of things in my studio, from bespoke handmade glass plates, to giant Mondrian wall clocks, or abstract wall art!
We run workshops for all ages. Come with your family and friends and create memories together.
This is the place for making gifts with love. Of course, you'll be able to say, no-one else, anywhere, has one quite like it. You can say "I made this!"
Come and play!
