Thanks for such a fun session. Would definitely recommend!

  • 5/5 from Joe Ledda, attended Jul 2026: I recently attended the Barista Coffee Making and Latte Art Class and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The instructor was knowledgeable, patient, and explained each step in a clear and practical way. The class was very hands-on, which gave everyone plenty of opportunity to practise espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art techniques. I walked away with a much better understanding of how to make consistently good coffee and create basic latte art with confidence. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it suitable for complete beginners as well as anyone looking to improve their coffee-making skills. I would highly recommend this class to anyone with an interest in coffee or wanting to gain practical barista skills. Thanks to the team for a great experience!
  • 3/5 from Sarah Shade, attended Jul 2026: I learned a lot from this class and found it engaging. There are, however, a few areas where I think the course could be improved. The four-hour session was delivered by three different instructors. The theory component was presented by a person who works as a barista. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and able to explain concepts clearly. The practical component was shared between a barista student and the main instructor. While both were approachable, I found there were inconsistencies in the techniques and instructions they provided. This made parts of the practical session confusing and, at times, frustrating. Ii also could be structured into more defined stages. For example, focusing first on milk texturing, then learning the different coffee types and their preparation, before moving on to latte art. It would also be beneficial to demonstrate more than one style of coffee art, as this would provide students with a broader introduction and make it more engaging. I would recommend being taught by a senior or fully qualified barista to ensure consistent, professional techniques are taught from the outset. That said, the barista student did an excellent job issue wasn't with either instructor individually, but with the conflicting methods being demonstrated. Four hours without a break can be overwhelming, particularly in a small, confined space. People learn in different ways, and having a few minutes to reset and process the information would likely improve learning outcomes. I also found the learning environment quite intense at times. The training took place in a very small, confined space, and there was a lot of raised voices/yelling throughout the practical session. While I understand this may have been necessary due to the noise of the coffee machines, it created a stressful atmosphere and made it more difficult to concentrate. Overall, I enjoyed the class and learned a great deal. The instructors were engaging and passionate, and with a little more consistency in teaching methods, a more structured practical component, and a short break during the session, I think the course would be even stronger. Based on my experience alone I don't feel I would recommend this course when there are other barista training options available.
  • 5/5 from Arnold Escorido Maravilla, attended Jun 2026: The place is fully equipped and you’ll have everything you need within reach. The course gives you the basic introduction and the foundation of how your going to get that perfect pouring. I went with my daughter so it gives us a chance to do something we could both enjoy and learn at thesame time. Definitely worth the shot!
  • 5/5 from Phoebe Murfet, attended Jun 2026: I got to learn so much about the complexity of brewing espresso, the processes of preparing coffee beans, how to properly handle espresso equipment, and preparing different coffee types. The instructor was really hands on and guided the class precisely through milk texturing and latte art. I had so much fun!
  • 5/5 from Sharon Stevens, attended Jun 2026: The teacher was amazing. I learnt so much. It was the perfect way to spend the morning of my birthday with my best friend from interstate. I love coffee, I just have a greater appreciation for it now. On the hunt for the perfect machine for home.
  • 5/5 from Anne Hamlyn, attended Jun 2026: A fabulous class. I can't wait to try out what I learnt at home.

  • 5/5 from Anny Phan, attended Jun 2026: that was such an amazing class!! angie really nails down everything for you and never leaves you guessing. the class can be very fast paced and overwhelming but i think it gives you a taste of how challenging and competitive the coffee industry really is. which i kind of enjoyed but is is stressful! i really loved the class and angie made everyone feel like more than just the strangers we were. thank you for having us, i hope ill be back soon hehe
  • 5/5 from Damian Butler, attended Jun 2026: Angie was a great teacher and really knows her stuff. It's about half theory and half practice which gives you a good background knowledge to get he gist before making a variety of different types and practicing steaming and pouring the milk. She has a handout for note taking also which was very handy. Some students were doing this as an intro to go on and become a barista but a couple of us were just learning for enjoyment. We had the help of a couple of Angie's regular students too which was good.
  • 5/5 from Leah Supple, attended May 2026: Angie was awesome. Fun class and learnt heaps
  • 5/5 from Joshua Legaspi, attended Apr 2026: Angie was great, she was thorough and knew a lot about coffee and the culture. I have tried to make coffee using my machine at home, learning from YouTube and people around me but I still had gaps in my knowledge and how to make coffee and latte art properly. I would definitely recommend this class for people who are stuck and getting nowhere on their own. It is a good introduction to building solid fundamentals for making excellent coffee.
  • 5/5 from Hazel Wan Sum Chan, attended Apr 2026: Angie is incredibly professional and engaging. We started with no knowledge of coffee, but she took the time to explain the coffee culture in Melbourne, helping us to understand it better. She provided practical guidance on how to operate the coffee machine and encouraged us to experiment with latte art. I highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to have fun while exploring practical skills.

  • 5/5 from Dominique Charmaine Aranas, attended Apr 2026: Had a fantastic experience with Jasmine, highly recommend the Basic Barista Coffee Making and Latte Art Class! The knowledge and skills you get are so worth it, especially if you love coffee. Great amount of knowledge taught at a good pace. We had zero coffee knowledge before coming here and the class wasn't intimidating at all. Jasmine was very fun and light; it's a very small class so she really had the opportunity to coach and guide us through each step, and we were able to get a decent amount of practice. We came out of the class with so much more knowledge and appreciation for coffee, and an aweome new party trick to boot! Can't wait to show off to our friends haha
