I wished we had done more about ways to take pictures instead of playing with the editing app (which was still super helpful). I'd recommend this short course to any novice wishing to learn the basic of smartphone photography.

I was unfamiliar with many of my phones features and the tips and tricks shown were valuable. The teacher was very knowledgeable. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be to receive a cheat sheet for the editing software. Overall an excellent course.

She gave lots of pointers about composition and reminded us to remember what outcome we wanted, so then we could take pictures with focal points in mind. Sometimes less is more!!! I don’t usually edit my photos except to crop, I discovered some simple edits that don’t change the reality I saw, but sharpen the outcome for the viewer. Enjoyed it. Thanks Nicky.

Definitely worthwhile! Nicki was a great teacher and explained everything very clearly even though we all had different phones.

He answered any questions we had and was super patient with the others who had booked and were just shockers. He showed us a super cool app I didn't know about and we saw some areas of the city I had never seen.

We were given this ‘ClassBento’ as a Christmas gift so had no idea of what our IPhone was capable of. We met in the city at Anzac Square and Maite began by giving us an overview of the class and what she would go through. Maite took us through the tools available on Snapseed and how to apply them in the most simple way for us being novices to photography. By the end of our class, we were now excited and well equipped to start applying our new found skills to our photo taking. These should be very useful for our upcoming trip to Europe. Thank you Maite for a very informative class on photography.

Claudia was not only highly knowledgeable but also had excellent communication skills and was incredibly easy to understand. The different venues we visited were perfect for trying out the techniques we'd just learned. The materials provided, such as the e-guide, were comprehensive and I can't wait to spend time going through it after class. In terms of value for money, I believe the experience was excellent. We covered a wide range of topics, including hints and tips on using my own phone, photo composition, exposure, editing, and much more. One of the aspects I liked the most was being able to see the results of our efforts immediately. Overall, it was a fantastic class and I can't wait to put my newfound knowledge into practice!

In addition my phone is an Iphone 7+ that was bought nearly 10 years ago but the instructor still showed me how to get the best out of my camera - actually they looked professional - I'm the family photographer now!

The course was very basic which was good for me as I have always been just a point and press with my phone and edit the photos later. I enjoyed learning how to control factors such as the light at the time of taking the photo and will also find Snapseed very helpful in the future. It’s super easy to use so looking forward to that. I like taking arty photos so the texture component appealed too and I shall be practicing now to get Rembrandt lighting on my portraits. Many Thanks to Claudia.
