Nothing beats the smell of freshly baked hot cross buns. In this hands-on class, we’ll show you how to make these soft, spiced Easter favourites from scratch.
During the class, participants will mix the dough, proof it, shape the buns, and bake them while we guide you through every step of the process.
Enjoy your buns fresh from the oven at the end of the class and take home six freshly baked hot cross buns.

Cook Studio is run by a mother-daughter team, Jane and Annalise, combining a shared passion for cooking with experience in teaching, hospitality, and food.
Jane originally began her career in industrial law and HR before following her passion for food and education. With a Masters in Training and Development, teaching has always been central to what she does. Over the years, that passion moved into the kitchen, leading her to write a cookbook, run cooking classes overseas, private catering, write a food blog, and qualify as a nutrition coach.
Annalise brings a background in café management, hospitality, and events. Following in her mum’s footsteps, she has a genuine love of cooking and experimenting in the kitchen. She’s always testing new recipes, playing with flavours, and finding ways to make cooking both exciting and accessible.
Together, we’ve created Cook Studio as a warm, hands-on space where people can learn new skills, ask questions, and enjoy the process of cooking.
We love teaching because there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone master a new technique and realise that cooking can actually be fun — not intimidating.
Our goal is that everyone leaves our classes feeling more confident, inspired, and ready to cook great food at home.
