BYO lunch. Snacks included. See below for details.ON THE DAY:* A certain amount of time will be allocated to each project. If your child doesn’t finish in time, they will take them home to complete. Please allow 5-10 minutes before class time starts to meet & greet and fill out the emergency contact and photo release form. There is plenty of street parking available. I will tie a balloon to the letter box. Come through the gate to the back yard.DROP & GOThis is a “drop-and-go” class. Please only commit if your child is wanting to make the particular projects shown and is able to engage and stay focused without parental presence for the full 5.5 hours as it is just myself (instructing and helping a class of 6 children). I can’t spend time babysitting kids who don’t want to be there. The art studio space has no room for extra people. If parents arrive early at pick-up time, please wait in the car or there is a small lounge area in another room to wait.Rest assured that I will have your contact numbers on hand and will call if there are any problems. Classes will be held in the renovated bungalow in my backyard that I have set up as a cozy and colourful art & craft studio with a small space for intimate (6 student) classes. It has a bathroom, a kitchenette with a small fridge, (no microwave) and tea & coffee facilities and a small lounge area (for waiting or if you need some privacy). See my social media pages for photos of the space.If the weather is lovely, depending on the project, we can craft outside under the trees. As I am renting, I am waiting to get some kind of temperature-control installed in the bungalow (it has none). Thankfully the weather is mild at the moment so it shouldn’t be a problem. Please dress according to the weather (Melbourne layers) but I will have some things to warm you up if it’s cold. A BIT ABOUT MEI’m Fionna, 47, a born and bred WA farm girl, also an ex-GC resident, who has called the Mornington Peninsula home for the past 10+ years. I’ve had a passion for everything arty and crafty since I was a child. Art, Home Economics and English were my favourite subjects at high school. A lot of my past jobs and study have been in creative fields – art supplies retail, fashion design and make-up artistry, to name a few. I am currently studying Visual Arts (with a scholarship) at Chisholm, just to reignite my artistic passions as most of what I’ve been doing over the last decade or so has been mainly crafty stuff. You may have seen my little stall in 4 Sisters Indoor Market that sadly recently closed its doors.I am looking forward to running all sorts of art and craft classes for both kids and adults in the next four years (until my daughter finishes her high schooling years) from my cosy studio. My own art studies and personal art pursuits will also keep me busy, and I’ll continue making items for my shop (and build a website) and, (reluctantly), throw myself into engaging in social media.

What to bring
ON THE DAY* BYO a simple lunch (there is a small fridge but no microwave) and a water bottle. NO NITS PLEASE!! Ooops NUTS! Or nits... LOL. * We will have 2 small breaks. I will provide a juice box, a basic fruit platter and a sweet treat.* Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting messy. (This particular class will only be using a tiny bit of paint and glue).
