  • 5/5 from Amy Trice + Trudy Trice, attended Oct 2026: Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that has kept me and my mum coming back consistently after we did the beginner’s throwing course a few months ago! The potters who work at Sajo are all so friendly and knowledgeable, and are more than willing to lend a helping hand with any questions or struggles at the wheel! (And they have a lot of patience with my mum and I whenever we ask the same questions over and over!). Highly recommend :)
  • 5/5 from Jen Askham, attended Sep 2026: My favourite place to play with mud! Thanks Jo for creating a great space for creativity to flourish
  • 5/5 from Deena El-Shabasei, attended Sep 2026: I am a returning student from the 4 week crash course. I adore the staff and environment at Sajo so it was a joy to return back to studio - for my first return class I learnt how to wedge and cone the clay. My main teach for the day was Mel, and my crash course teacher, Rene, was there too, and both were incredibly patient and helped me immensely. The atmosphere at Sajo might be one of the friendliest you'll find.

  • 5/5 from Ané van der Walt, attended Jul 2026: SaJo is a wonderful studio with amazing and talented teachers, and a lovely group of regulars. Jo has really built a wonderful and supportive community space which is my happy place and my home away from home - I just wish I’d found it sooner. Eddie in particular has really helped me to grow, improve, and push myself, and my progress as a potter is in large part thanks to his guidance and patience. Thank you Jo, Eddie, Georgie, Renee, and everyone else for the joy you bring to all of us every week!
  • 5/5 from Jen Askham, attended Jul 2026: A great bargain for returning students! Sajo is a warm and welcoming pottery studio, and I always feel myself relax as I cross the threshold - it’s the best place to play with clay with support, tips, and camaraderie from instructors and other potters.
  • 5/5 from Bek Luscombe, attended Jun 2026: My first class back on the wheel after quite a few years break… and with some fantastic instruction and guidance (and even a little ghost moment) from Jess my throwing improved greatly! So happy with these, and I can’t wait to go back next week and keep improving and see what I can do!!! Such a great little studio & group of people - both the knowledgable instructors and other happy potters!
  • 5/5 from Joanne Reynolds, attended Jun 2026: I started with a taster class for wheel throwing and now attend weekly classes and love it! The studio has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and the staff are incredibly welcoming and patient always happy to help no matter what your skill level.
