What you'll do
Spend quality time with your kids as you both learn and experiment in Cones Studio's 6-week wheel throwing course in Melbourne!Over the six sessions, kids and parents will learn the basic skills on the pottery wheel from a friendly expert. Beginning with techniques to help you create simple forms, you will then get the opportunity to experiment with surface decoration as you get hands-on and learn how to mould and shape the clay into a range of funky pieces to take home! Kids and parents will also learn how to apply glaze to a selection of pieces to prepare them for firing.What this course will cover:

- Simple forms, including cylinders and bowls
- Decorating and applying your own glaze
- Please bring an apron and towel if possible
- Closed toe shoes are required
- Rings, bracelets, watches etc. should be removed and keep nails short if possible as these may interfere with your experience
