Let your little one explore their creativity in this fun and colourful leather hair clip-making workshop!
Children will choose from a beautiful selection of colourful leather pieces, shapes, and decorations to design their own unique hair accessories. They can mix and match different colours and shapes, arrange their designs, and create hair clips that reflect their own personality and imagination.
During the workshop, children will create five different leather hair clips to take home. A glue gun will be used to attach the leather pieces, with guidance and close supervision provided throughout the class.
We use premium French goatskin leather from the renowned Alran tannery. Its soft texture and beautiful range of colours make it perfect for creating playful and stylish accessories.
This workshop encourages creativity, colour coordination, and hands-on making in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. Every child’s designs will be different, making each finished hair clip completely unique.
Suitable for:
Children aged 6 years and over
Children must be able to follow basic instructions. As a glue gun is used during the workshop, all children will be closely supervised and assisted when required. Parents are welcome to stay and assist younger children during the class.

Group bookings:
A minimum of four participants is required. Please organise a group of at least four children before booking.
All leather, hair clips, decorations, tools, and materials are included. No previous craft experience is required.

No previous leathercraft or creative experience is required.
This workshop is beginner-friendly and suitable for children aged 6 years and over. Children should be able to follow simple instructions and use a glue gun with guidance and close adult supervision.
All techniques will be demonstrated step-by-step during the class.
What to bring
Guests do not need to bring any craft supplies. All leather, hair clips, decorations, tools, and materials will be provided.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing suitable for a hands-on craft activity. Guests are welcome to bring their own drink and a small snack to enjoy during the workshop.
Parents or guardians are also welcome to stay and assist younger children during the class.

I've been interested in leather crafting for almost 15 years now. During a tough period when I was struggling with depression, I found myself spending a lot of time at home. Wanting to overcome this difficult time, I started thinking about what I enjoyed and wanted to do. I remembered how much I loved studying Textiles in University, and I realized that I really enjoy creating things with my hands.
I started making small cushion covers and reupholstering furniture, and eventually, I decided to try making something out of leather. I bought small pieces of leather and started making simple items. I learned a lot from YouTube and through my own experimentation, and I quickly became passionate about leather crafting. It helped me to completely overcome my depression.
As I was able to design my own patterns and create the leather items I envisioned, I felt so happy and fulfilled. I wanted to share this joy and happiness with others, which led me to start teaching leather crafting classes.
