  • 5/5 from Maria Flaherty, attended Nov 2025: I could not recommend this workshop highly enough Caitlin is a wonderful, calm, enthusiastic and patient teacher of the techniques we learnt. Was a very fun and therapeutic way to spend a few hours learning about metal stamped jewellery! I hope my photograph loaded ok…
  • 5/5 from Lusiana Pontan, attended Jun 2025: Caitlin was very friendly and patient in answering all my questions. The materials provided had plenty of options for me to choose what I want to make. Overall it was a great experience!
  • 5/5 from Ingrid Schepisi, attended Sep 2024: Had a wonderful afternoon learning jewelly stamping. Very clear instructions provided. Thoroughly enjoyed my time and my creations. Exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend.
  • 5/5 from Lachlan Furphy, attended Aug 2024: My boyfriend took me to Caitlin's Jewellery Workshop as a fun activity in celebration of my birthday and it certainly delivered. Caitlin was very helpful and welcoming, and facilitated a comfortable environment for our creativity and experimentation to flourish. We were left with multiple pieces of jewellery that we were very proud of, and similarly left with a newfound or heightened interest in an unexpected hobby. I highly recommend this workshop, and could absolutely see myself and my boyfriend returning to it in the future. Thank you very much for having us!
  • 5/5 from Toby Black, attended Aug 2024: Caitlin was a super lovely teacher, very helpful and nice to chat to, everything we needed was there - including the actual pieces of jewellery we would be stamping, and we had a lot of customisation options that she was very accomodating towards. There were 3 different sizes of pendants for us to try, I wound up with 1 pendant with 2 charms and 1 charm to put on a chord at home. But if you wanted to you could theoretically have 3 seperate charms for 3 seperate pendants. There were bracelets with varying widths so we could stamp more or less onto it, a metal piece that we could put onto a chord or turn into another charm for a necklace, and a ring. For $120 per person it was very much worth the value, for starters that is a lot of different pieces of jewellery to take home + we also got enough practise time so it didn’t feel like I was rushing to pump out ideas, I was very satisfied with each piece that I got to take home, + Caitlin give us plenty of helpful pointers. There were so many stamps available too so it genuinely felt endless in terms of customisation, drinks and snacks were provided at the location and the bathroom was close by, very comfortable environment and a wonderful way to spend my partners 21st birthday :)
  • 4/5 from Olivia Qi, attended May 2024: It's an easy activity to get started with and teacher is nice and friendly. All shapes of materials had 3 different colours to choose. The only downside to this activity is that the price is too high, not cost-effective.

Hi! I’m Caitlin Lewis, jeweller and educator, and one of the resident artists at 26 Advantage Rd in Highett.
I have always been fascinated by materials, their properties and interactions. That’s what led me to study and teach chemistry, and it’s also been a real inspiration in my artistic practice.
When my family moved to the US in 2016, I had the opportunity to take a number of courses through the local arts centres and discovered my love of metalsmithing. I worked my way through every course on offer and ended up working as a jewellery instructor and studio coordinator. I started my business Clewdoodle in 2017, making and selling jewellery at local craft markets.
When we moved back to Melbourne in early 2022, I joined the creative community in the beautiful studios at 26 Advantage Rd. I love sharing my enthusiasm for jewellery making with others, and hope to provide knowledge, assistance and inspiration for a new community of makers here in Bayside Melbourne.
