What you'll do
Have fun and learn how to create a painting using Van Gogh’s signature brush stroke technique, learn about the man and how he saw the world. Hart, your teacher will show you how, step-by-step with easy-to-follow tips on how to create your own masterpiece. All with a glass of wine or soft drink in one hand and a paintbrush in the other.No prior painting experience required! This workshop is designed for artists of all levels, from absolute beginners to experienced artists and everyone in between!Connect, have fun and make new friends through art as you find your personal style and groove. Expect some great music and plenty of tips and techniques and you will be surprised how easy and how much fun it can be!By the end of the class, you can take home your own Van Gogh inspired canvas, as well as some new painting skills!

The venue had everything we needed (just byo drinks and snacks - plates, cutlery and glasses are provided) so it was totally stressfree. We can't wait to do it again sometime!!! Highly recommend!!!

We were able to learn about the history of Van Gogh and gain some insights on what the paintings mean and how he used art throughout his lift. Hart was very patient and helpful in teaching us how to paint, played music and gave us time to work on our paintings by ourselves; encouraging us to create our own style of art rather than simply following Van Gogh. The studio space is very nice, relaxing and clean.

It’s owner and artist-in-resident Hart (Hartmut Veit) has over 30 years experience teaching, studying, exhibiting and working as a professional graphic designer and contemporary artist. And a string of academic art qualifications such as a research Masters of Fine Art from Victorian College of the Arts, a Masters of Visual Art from Monash University in addition to a Batchelor’s Degree in Graphic Design at Swinburne University.
