I could never understand the abbreviations and terms used in patterns. Kay is very patient, she went over and over explaining the whole crocheting process and the abbreviations and terms used. In 0ne class we learned a lot. Can't wait for the next class. Thank you Kay for your knowledge, kindness and skills.

  • 5/5 from Lisa Thomson, attended Dec 2023: Today I took the beginners crocheting class with Kay and I can highly recommend it. Kay was so friendly, helpful and patient and she explained everything slowly. The cafe where she held the class was lovely and we could hear her and see what she was showing us as the venue had it set up well. I think the experience was very good value for money. We got to keep the yarn and crochet hook and also a detailed print out of what we had learned and had Kay’s teaching us for 3 hours. In that three hours we learnt how to chain, single crochet, double and half double. And also the beginning of a granny square. I really enjoyed the class because for me I learn better when it’s hands on and I get to do the activity.
