Metal Clay Workshop - the Best of Intentions

2025! Let’s start with the best of intentions and create a stunning pure silver or bronze pendant.

2.5 hours Class size 1 to 4 guests

  $175 (Afterpay available)

We all start the year with the best of intentions!
This workshop is a little different, as it will start with a gentle relaxation and grounding before we move into the workshop.
Each participant will be asked to write a small list of intentions for themselves on a piece of paper (this is private to you and you will not be asked to share).
This can be something as simple as,
I want to try and learn watercolour, or even just be kinder to yourself
You will be given about 15 minutes to complete this exercise.
We will carefully light our beautiful handmade soy candle, being careful to keep our match!
This signifies our positive energy as we move into 2025!
Using our match, we will make a mould and make a copy using metal clay.
You will be guided through the whole process by your teacher.
You will learn how to work with metal clay and prepare the piece for firing.
Your pendant will then be taken away to be fired and finished.
Step into 2025 with a reminder to yourself of all the wonderful things that can happen!
And start with the best of intentions! (because let’s face it we are all wildly optimistic at the start of a new year!)
What you'll get
A gorgeous handmade soy candle, made with essential oils.
A perfect match pedant (either 999 silver or pure gold bronze) and (925) chain
As a daily reminder of our hopes and dreams moving forward.

Hi, I'm Eloise! I hold a BA Degree in Textile Art from the Winchester School of Art, UK, and studied at MICA college, USA. I'm also currently undertaking my certification in Arts Therapy.
I've lived in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges for nearly 20 years and have always appreciated the free, artistic spirit of the hills. At tsc Creative Workshop, it's my goal to create a space that fosters this creativity and shares it with the wider community.
With over 25+ years of art experience, and teaching in the community, I have a wealth of knowledge.
In metal clay jewellery-making, you'll learn about various types of clay and metals, and discover techniques to create one-of-a-kind pieces with semi-precious stones. You'll be taken through the process from raw clay, firing, polishing and finishing.
My printmaking workshops are a wonderful way to have a girl date, hens party or simply spend a Saturday arvo creating contemporary images. (You'll be so in love with them, you'll want to frame and hang them in your home.)
I'm also in the process of developing a stained/fused glass sun catcher workshop... so watch this space!
My classes will give you with the knowledge you need to continue practicing your newfound skills at home – even with limited materials.
