In this creative workshop for primary students aged 5-12, your child will have the opportunity to make, build, and create engaging projects to take home. During the hour-long after-school sessions on Mondays and Thursdays, your child will explore a variety of materials, including many recycled items, to spark their imagination.
  • Children who feel less confident creatively will receive guidance and inspiration on what they can create, while others can jump straight into their projects independently.
  • The goal is to nurture independence and creativity in a supportive environment where your child can feel safe, focused, and inspired to unleash their artistic side.
  • At the end of each session, a fun pack-up game awaits, with a prize for the winner to take home along with their wonderful creations.

Short answer: yes but please contact us to discuss your child's needs before enrolling
What happens if my child can't attend every week?
We offer single sessions, 5 sessions and 8 sessions options so you can attend whenever suits
My child wants to come but doesn't know anyone there. Is this ok?
That's ok! Some children come and work alone, enjoying their alone time to create. Others come and make friends which is a bonus! We ensure respect for each other, inside voices only and small class sizes

Kids Craft Studio Wangaratta is the brainchild of Suzie, a teacher of 30 years. She is trained in Early Childhood and Primary Teaching and currently teaches STEM and Art in NE Victoria. Sessions at the studio focus on giving children the opportunity to be creative, develop independence, resilience, confidence and skills, make friends and have fun. All activities are open ended, meaning children have access to hundreds of materials (many recycled) from which they can make, build and create to their heart's content.
The studio is also open to adult classes - Paint and Sip and a venue for craft groups, craft parties and birthday parties.
