What you'll do
Take beautiful photos of Brisbane in this fun and relaxed photography workshop, led by an expert photographer.Hone your skills on some of Brisbane's most photogenic locations, like Brisbane Town Hall, Brisbane War Memorial, Queen Street Mall, Botanical Gardens, Kangaroo Point Reserve, Storey Bridge, and Brisbane River.You'll learn to master your camera's manual mode, including controlling aperture, shutter speed and ISO, as well as gaining skills in photo composition.Rain or shine we'll be fine, as there will be sheltered areas available (exceptions may be made for very heavy rains).Your Brisbane teacher will be one of the following:Nikky, a Brisbane based commercial photographer specialising in event, portrait and wedding photography with a Bachelor Degree in Photography from Griffith University in Southbank, Brisbane.Sarah, a press photographer for the last 20 years, who has had the privilege of working with some incredible people and also covered some of our biggest national and international events including natural disasters, the Iraq War and political storms. Passing on her passion for photography is a welcome break from the chaos to calm her down with like-minded people.If you are booking for a minor (under 16 years of age) to attend, they must be accompanied by a paying adult
