Join in once or come regularly to our monthly floristry class and learn like an apprentice florist from Cassy, of Flowers for Jane in Langwarrin!Here Cassy, a qualified florist with 27 years' experience in the industry, will teach you floristry just like she has taught previous apprentices on the job. This is the perfect class for beginners or if you've attended a more advanced class and then want to practise - practice is the way to becoming a great flower arranger.Each session is designed for someone starting out in flower designing. We will focus on either bouquet techniques or arrangements made in a vessel.If the class has low numbers you'll be able to watch Cassy create arrangements for orders, offering you a broader understanding of the floristry industry.This is a perfect way to get experience in a florist or if you want to enter the industry. This opportunity allows everyone to work at their own pace and have time to practise because practice makes perfect.Working with a variety of fresh flowers and greenery provided, you will have the chance to make the arrangement of the month.
