• 5/5 from Katy Checkley, attended Sep 2026: Me and my partner booked this class for our 11-year anniversary, I had done a little silverwork before, but my partner never had. Kimba was so lovely, she explained everything as she was doing it. Nothing I asked was too stupid, there was a little flexibility in the types of rings we could make, she was very engaging and safety conscious. We were in her beautiful upstairs studio, surrounded by trees and birds. It was so well set up and had tools enough for all of us (6) to use all at the same time - so there was no waiting around. There was gentle music playing and amenities and snacks and water available! Me and my partner are both Neurodivergent and we felt really comfortable and accommodated during the whole class - just a really lovely experience, and I learned some new stuff! I hope to do another class with Kimba in the future :)

Kimba is the best teacher; knowledgeable, patient, caring, and has a plethora of handy tips to impart. The studio is also incredibly beautiful, spacious, and well organized. I looked at many classes but chose Kimba’s as she provided small group classes in her picturesque jewellery making studio. Kimba shared all her professional knowledge and advice and supported us in the making of our rings. We had individual stations complete with our own tools. We sized, cut, engraved, shaped, tensioned, soldered, textured, sanded and polished our rings. My son and I were delighted with the quality of rings we were able to make and they will be treasured forever.

Kimba was an outstanding teacher, very patient, clear in her instructions, and genuinely invested in making sure we both walked away with something we were proud of. The guidance struck the right balance between hands-on learning and support, which made the whole experience feel rewarding rather than overwhelming. We each created meaningful pieces. I made two rings for Steph, and she made a solid band for me. That alone made the experience feel personal rather than just another class. The setting was just as impressive. Beautiful views, relaxed atmosphere, and a really well set up workspace that made the whole session enjoyable.

The process was methodical and Kimba had the time to attend to each person individually to help work through the process, and we did not feel rushed at all. The rings we created for eachother are unique and perfectly imperfect.

The instructor Kimba was amazing and put a lot of time and effort into the class, and is clearly passionate about her craft, I struggled a little bit with this craft as I’ve never done something like it before, but Kimba helped me so I was able to make something beautiful! I would 100% recommend this class for anyone who wants to try something new and make a beautiful keepsake.

Kimba was such a wonderful instructor, dedicating individual support and guidance to everyone there. She was very patient too so the class didn't feel rushed. Not to mention the idyllic views from the workshop. I felt so relaxed and rejuvenated afterwards plus the added perk of returning home with two beautiful handmade rings.

It was an intimate class and we all had our own tools and work stations, it has been set up extremely well and Kimba even hand crafted the workspace bench herself. The end products looked fantastic, I would highly recommend this experience.

I had an excellent time and came away with three rings I'm very happy with (one for me and two little stackers for my partner - see attached). Located down the tree-lined, windy backstreets of Eltham, Kimba's studio is fantastic! It is well set up, very comfortable and relaxed, and a really nice space to work in. Everything we needed was prepared, missing only ourselves and our imaginations. Small classes made it easy for the four of us to see everything and grab Kimba when we needed assistance. We were encouraged to create pieces that suited our individual aesthetics and desired outcomes, which meant we all ended up with quite different rings using varying techniques. I'll be back again for sure to learn other methods!

She made sure we were comfortable during the 40°c heat with some cold water and fruits, as well as effortlessly checking up on everyone individually in case help was needed. My boyfriend and I crafted 2 beautiful rings each, carrying characteristics that represents us. This whole experience was super hands-on and unique, we left extremely satisfied and would definitely recommend doing this class with lovely Kimba. Literally an unforgettable experience!

The session went far longer than expected, but only because Kimba wanted us all to have quality work to take home. The studio was lovely and well organised. All in all a great class. For our 35th wedding anniversary (today) we came to Kimba's great studio and created beautiful, personalised rings together to wear for our next 35 years and beyond. Kimba's experience and relaxed instruction style had the whole class at ease and gave the confidence to create these great pieces. Her studio set up is fantastic and welcoming. Another couple were there making each other's wedding rings. Highly recommended.

Kimba was a fantastic teacher, very detailed instruction and was able to get around to supervise and help everyone in the class. All tools and materials were supplied and Kimba was very generous with both her time and the materials. I cannot believe how much I learnt in just a few hours. I am so happy with the 2 rings I made and will definitely be coming back for more classes!

The studio had a gorgeous view, the smaller class size meant that more time could be spent perfecting the details, and it was so cool to be able to go home with the rings we made. Kimba is a lovely, highly-skilled, passionate and patient teacher. She made her way effortlessly around to all of us to help when needed. Absolutely everything, including materials, aprons and tools, was provided to make our rings. Small touches such as providing snacks and water were appreciated. The atmosphere was light-hearted and fun. A great afternoon out meeting like-minded others in such a creative environment. It was fabulous value for money and I am now looking at what new course I can sign up to via ClassBento. Highly recommended teacher and course!

Kimba was extremely welcoming and explained all the processes clearly and was clearly passionate about ring making. She even extended the class a bit so that we could finish polishing all of our rings. Would highly recommend this class!
