  • 5/5 from Rochelle Kidd, attended Sep 2026: Davy was an exceptional teacher. The class was very informative, we went as private group of 5 and all learnt a lot. Davy was very patient with us, and provided lots of hands on learning. Great that the school has so many coffee machines so that we could practice at the same time.
  • 5/5 from Nolan Nel, attended Aug 2026: To learn from the QLD art latte chanmpion was amazing. Could not recommend it more.! Thanks!
  • 5/5 from Fynn Higgins, attended Jul 2026: Overall great experience, lots of fun, the teachers explain everything very well, it was very enjoyable, I highly recommend it.
  • 5/5 from Sue Hazlewood, attended May 2026: Great 1 on 1 class with David. Great knowledge and patience. Learnt a lot. Def recommend!! Free parking opp in Australia Fair.
  • 5/5 from Linda Mandy, attended Mar 2026: Very enjoyable day of learning, well structured and fun!
  • 5/5 from Janice Ash, attended Mar 2026: Absolutely well worth the day learning some skills in making coffee understanding how it all works. The trainer was very patient and kind learned a lot from him today from how to hold the jugs properly, to learning how to design a heart picture on top of coffee. Would recommend if interested in learning the skills
  • 5/5 from David Myatt, attended Jan 2026: Teacher (Deft) was great. Lots of basic techniques taught… including some great insights that can only come from a latte arts champion with a lot of international experience. More than enough basics to come to realize that baristas are more skilled than I’d thought, have so much more experience than could be developed in a one-day workshop, and really should be paid more if they can deliver impressive latte art (like animals).
  • 5/5 from Craig Mackenzie, attended Dec 2025: Excellent day, covered everything I was looking for. Hands on training was perfect
  • 5/5 from Andrea Luz, attended Nov 2025: I recommend it!
  • 5/5 from Saw Myat Thida, attended Oct 2025: I attended the barista course today and had a great experience! The trainer was incredibly friendly and gave clear, easy-to-follow instructions. The session was very practical, with lots of hands-on learning that made it both fun and educational. I also love the idea of integrating the café with the café school — it creates a real, professional environment that makes the learning feel even more authentic. Highly recommend this course to anyone interested in developing their barista skills! The trainer DEFT is a star!!
  • 5/5 from Sue Coventry, attended Sep 2023: Knowledgeable and friendly instructor. Very patient and explained well. Class was well planned and well paced. Good class size so lots of opportunity to ask questions and try again to build skills. Everything was supplied and I learned a lot. Now I need to practice …. A lot! I enjoyed the day very much. Thank you for a great day.
  • 5/5 from Sofia Poblete, attended Aug 2023: I loved the barista course It was so good and also the teacher and all the team were so professional. If you can, don’t think to much, just do it. Wonderful experience
  • 5/5 from Justine Bonde, attended Feb 2023: I've done the beginner package course. The course is really good and comprehensive, you can feel that Professor Finn loves and has a great knowledge of coffee. You leave the course with a first good knowledge of coffee and how to do it well. Would definitely recommend it!
  • 5/5 from Charlie Thomas, attended Nov 2022: i loved this course, had a great day and easy to understand and i love doing coffee art. Thank you for being a great teacher
  • 5/5 from Graeme Ridler, attended Oct 2022: I would like to give this course 5 stars, for a number of reasons. The class was small, with 5 participants, and for the practical we were allocated to our own machine. This allowed for a lot of time to use the machine and practice what the instructor had just shown us. The instructor was very knowledge and took the time to ensure we understood the art of making coffee and giving us plenty of time to practice what we had been taught. Because of size of the class, the instructor was able to give us one-on-one coaching if needed to better understand how to complete a task, such has making hearts on top of the coffeevery nicewould highly recommend
  • 5/5 from Richard Awhy, attended Oct 2022: Great tuition Very enlightening Learnt so much and ready to practice my new skills Enjoyed the time spent there today
