Join Janella for a hands-on jewellery-making class! Create your unique piece in wax, with cast-in-place gemstones. Whether it’s a ring, pendant, or earring charms, Janella will guide you every step of the way.Our workshops will continue to be held at my home studio in Robina Until August when we will have moved into our very own studio in Mermaid Beach!*Home studio has stairs to accessPlease note: Our Mermaid Beach studio is located on Level 1 and is accessible by stairs only. If stairs may be difficult to navigate, we’d love to bring the experience to you through our mobile workshop service, where we can create a comfortable jewellery-making experience at your chosen location.What to expect:

• Discover the magic of lost wax casting and what it actually is.
• Learn to use wax tools.
• Measure your ring sizes.
• Craft jewellery of your desire.
• Set mixed gemstones in wax (optional).
• Create your own design with stones.
• Option to make ring, pendant (up to 10grams), or earring charms (extra cost for more than 1 ring/pendant)

If you do not see your location listed, please contact me prior and I'll let you know which one to select.FAQ:Q/ Can I bring my own gems?A/ Yes, you can bring your own gemstones to our Sip and Jewel Workshops — we love seeing your personal touches! There are just a few important things to note before you do:1 | Gemstone IdentificationYou must know exactly what your Gem is (e.g. CZ, opal, garnet, sapphire, etc). This helps us determine how it can be used in the process. This will help the risk of not damaging your Gem.2 | Cast-In-Place RequirementsIf you’d like your gem cast directly into your piece, it must be a hardness of 8 or higher on the Mohs scale. (Simply google your Gem asking what the Mohs scale is and it will tell you your number) There is also an $18 casting fee — this covers the additional cost we incur for casting with stones.3 | Gemstone Risk DisclaimerWhether you choose cast-in-place or claw setting, please understand there is always a small risk of damage during the casting or setting process. If you're bringing your own stones, they're accepted at your own risk. We always take great care, but it's still a risk when setting and casting in place.4 | Claw Setting OptionIf your gemstone needs to be set after casting (via claw setting), there is a $35 setting fee.If you have any questions or are unsure if your gem is suitable, we’re always happy to help — just reach out.
