Botanical Print on Silk and Cotton Workshop

Learn botanical printing on silk and cotton on the Central Coast!

3.5 hours Class size 1 to 10 guests

$115 (Afterpay & PayPal Pay in 4 available)

Luna Ray Botanical Print is excited to offer a workshop on botanical print on silk and cotton, in gorgeous Central Coast. Botanical printing allows you to reconnect with nature, up-cycle garments and dye accessories by slowly extracting pigments and embossing shapes given by plants, flowers, berries, veggies and roots themselves, onto clothes. The result is delicate and perfectly imperfect. Each product is unique and joyful.
In this workshop, you will learn about mordants to print botanical colour and shapes onto silk and cotton; collecting, sorting and preserving leaves, flowers, veggies, roots; steaming and boiling different materials. All plants, veggies and dying materials will be provided.
By the end of this workshop, you will take with you a unique silk scarf (approx 28cm x 145cm) printed and designed by you.
Venue: Point Clare Community Hall, just across from the train Station.
Date: Saturday 27 June 2026
Time: 9:30am to 1pm.
