Gentle Growth is a five-part seasonal floristry workshop series designed as an evening escape for creativity and wellbeing. Held fortnightly, each session invites you to slow down, unwind, and reconnect through the beauty of flowers as we move from winter reflection into spring renewal.
These workshops are not about perfection or experience — they are about enjoying the process, learning simple floristry techniques, and taking time for yourself in a relaxed and welcoming studio environment.
Over five evenings, we explore a seasonal journey:
Seeds of Intention – 23 July 2026
A reflective start to the series, creating a floral arrangement inspired by hopes, intentions, and new beginnings.
Quiet Bloom – 6 August 2026
A gentle creative session celebrating slow growth, softness, and mindful making.
Finding Light – 20 August 2026
An uplifting workshop exploring colour, brightness, and the first signs of spring.
Growing Wild – 3 September 2026
A relaxed, garden-style arrangement inspired by natural movement and creative freedom.
Spring Renewal – 17 September 2026
A celebration of seasonal change, abundance, and fresh beginnings.
Perfect for beginners, flower lovers, hobby creatives, NDIS participants, and anyone seeking a calming and meaningful evening experience.

School Owner and Founder is Sharon Bermingham; a second generation Irish florist of over 16 years. Sharon brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her studio floristry business in Berwick (Bunty and Fuzz Florist) and has built up a solid network of local, national and international clients as well as industry contacts worldwide. Her style is elegant and modern, with influences from Ireland, the UK and Europe. With the added convenience of being close to local flower growers and having access to locally-grown, market fresh produce several times a week, Sharon prides herself on being able to meet customers' needs within today's budgetary confinements.
Sharon opened her first retail store at 71 High Street, Berwick in January 2020. In December 2022, she made a pivotal decision coming out of the pandemic to move her business back Online.
“With Covid, came the downturn in foot traffic on Berwick’s previously thriving High St so the decision to work remotely was made for me after a very challenging few years. I continued to design and deliver amazing flower arrangements and bouquets, whilst also exploring some new adventures in Event Floristry and Floristry Education. My family, my loyal customer base and my local community continue to be so supportive and I am forever grateful to be in a position to follow my purpose in life with a new energy for 2025”
Entering her “Studio Era” in August 2024 Sharon relocated the business to the beautiful Gloucester Avenue, Berwick. “From this central location, we now have more space to service online orders, to consult with clients and we now have a permanent classroom set up for our Flower School!”
With a true passion for the industry, Sharon delights in sharing her knowledge, skills and experience with others through the many hobby classes and workshops she tutors both privately and in the local community.
“Building on the classes and workshops that I have been teaching since 2016, I now want to offer pre-requisite, competency based training that can potentially lead students to a future study pathway/ready for work opportunity”.
Sharon is excited to have completed her TAE Qualification (Cert IV Training and Assessment) at Chisholm in March 2025 and is now a fully accredited trainer and assessor!
