Me and my 8 year old daughter had so much fun learning the techniques of pottery making. We will most definetly will return for other classes. A huge shout out to Diana Ceramics and Bel for making these fun loving classes.

My daughter is on the younger end of being able to use and operate the wheel, but she had the best time, and won't stop talking about it. I'm so glad we did it. Thank you Diana!

We had Tim as our pottery teacher and he was very friendly, patient and attentive to all of us beginner students. On my end, I couldn't grasp the technique until my 4th attempt and Tim was such a great help that I ended up shaping 3x proper pottery pieces (: My godson on the other hand is a fast learner and was locked in from the very start - he's now interested in doing more pottery classes, so safe to assume he really enjoyed it! Thanks Tim and the team for the experience we had ^_^

The studio was bright and inviting and the small class size was conducive for all of us as beginners. Tim was a friendly instructor and was happy to demonstrate and help us whenever we asked for help. We were disappointed, however, when we were asked half an hour before the end time, to finish up the piece we were working on and to start cleaning up. When we asked how long it would take to clean up, we were told it would take about 25min. This was disappointing as it was meant to be a 2hr class and we were all hoping to make one more piece and expected to have until much closer to the end time to finish our work. It only took about 5-10min to clean up and consequently most people ended up leaving well before the end time. Overall, it was an enjoyable class, but it would've been much better if we could have had the full class time to learn and practice our new skills.

Amy is incredibly patient, encouraging, and great at explaining techniques in a way that children can easily understand. The class was well-structured but still relaxed and fun, allowing the kids to explore their creativity while learning real pottery skills. The studio has a calm, welcoming atmosphere, and it was lovely to see how proud the kids were of what they created on the wheel. Highly recommend this class for children who enjoy hands-on activities and want to try something creative and different. We’ll definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed yesterday— spinning clay on a wheel, covered in mud, laughing at our creations. Diana was an amazing guide and my 7yr old and 13 yr old loved it! Excited to come paint them.

We could make things like bowls and cups. And overall it was actually kind of satisfying and relaxing once you got the hang of it! Pippa aged 11

• 2/5 from Melanie Duncan, attended Sep 2025: Wasn’t happy with Amy the teacher. We were 2 mins late and she didn’t communicate that any extra pieces after two we had to pay $10 each for. This info could have easily been shared as they hadnt even started yet. This changed the whole experience as we focused more on quantity not quality. She also spent the majority of the class doing other things on the other side of room and we had to try and get her attention for help. There were many tips and little techniques she could have shared with us from the start which we could have applied. She literally just taught us the bare basics and left us to our own for 2 hrs. We then were made to stop 25 mins early to clean up which I feel is her role as I didn’t pay to clean. Very disappointed as it could have been such a better exp. Would not recommend unless you have a better teacher.

He loves clay so I got him a wheel throwing class and he loved it, we both did, Angus was fantastic, very knowledgeable and helpful, it's well worth it, we got to keep 2 pieces and only paid $10 extra each to keep our 3rd pieces. My son is already asking when we can go back, thank you so much for a great class Angus, we may have a new young potter on our hands.

The instructor gave clear, timely guidance at each stage, which made learning easy and enjoyable. I booked the class as a Mother’s Day activity with my 6-year-old, and she was able to follow along and create something of her own. A wonderful experience for both of us!

Angus was a great teacher who gave really clear instructions and then left us with time and space to experiment and work things out ourselves, but was on hand to help or step in if things didn’t work out as expected. Ended the day with some great pieces - can’t wait to see how they turn out once finished! Class was suitably geared to adults and younger participants, all of whom experienced success first time at the wheel. Really fun and fulfilling class.

The class was delayed 30mins as the teacher was late, they said they would give us more time at the end to balance it out but had us stop to clean up so we were all out of the premises before our 2 hours had passed.

Jessica, our teacher explained how to use the pottery wheel. We spent over an hour and 20 minutes practising and our new found skill. It was great value for money and a fun evening to have. I would recommend it to other mothers and daughters who like a crafty evening.

The teacher was patient and lovely with the kids (and adults!) and we all made some great pottery and had fun in the process. Great mother daughter activity for the school holidays!
