Emerging research shows that with the habitual use of AI, our brains are receiving less exercise and, in some cases, causing a diminishing of certain neural pathways. This can affect our ability to generate fresh ideas and solve complex problems wth originality. Many of us regularly exercise the muscles in our body but don't think to exercise our brain!
In this fun and friendly workshop with writer and creative Amanda Anastasi, you will participate in exercises designed to encourage cognitive flexibility, associative thinking, divergent thinking, and constraint breaking. You will also be given helpful tips on how to use these exercises in your daily life to stimulate ideas and create habits to keep your brain sharp and your creativity flowing.
If you currently have a problem to solve or feel that your thinking has become a little lazy, this is the place for you! This workshop will remind you of the unlimited capacity of your own mind and its ability to generate new ideas without always needing the aid of AI. It is a great workshop to attend on your own to meet new people, or to bring a group of friends to for a brain nourishing couple of hours!
