What you'll do
Over a slow morning, Sarah will guide you through the fundamentals of colour theory using watercolour. You’ll learn key techniques such as colour mixing, saturation, layering, blending, value, and application. While watercolour is the medium of focus, the colour theory and colour mixing skills gained can be applied to any painting practise.The session begins with hands-on colour exploration, followed by creating artworks that put your new knowledge into practise with themes such as still life, botanicals, and landscapes.You will take home your very own colour and watercolour info booklet full of resources.Location:Temperance Hall, Upstairs Studio199 Napier St, South Melbourne VIC 3205Dates and Time:9.30am - 12.30pm Saturday 30th August 2025You will learn:
- The fundamentals of colour.
- The principles and techniques of using watercolour.
