She has created a really lovely, welcoming and relaxed space for crafting and learning. All supplies were provided and it was great to be able to BYO an item to upcycle. Sez was fantastic, friendly, explained the process for my project as well as helping with handy hints along the way. I liked how you can change something your not reaching for anymore and turning it into something exciting and new. Gives your item a whole new lease of life as well as endless possibilities with colours and combinations. Tonight I went from Basic Black to Racey Red. I think I have found myself a new hobby. As with all her workshop sessions, Sez was very well-prepared with materials, tools and ideas. After a detailed explanation and demonstration, we were given plenty of time to experiment with a variety of colours. I left the workshop planning what else I could find at home that I could add shiny foil to. Looking forward to the next time!

This activity is SO fun, the process is so satisfying and the results are amazing, the perfect way to up-cycle something tired but treasured, or make a cute gift for a friend. Sez provided the best tips and a lovely take home kit to finish the varnish and for any touch ups.

The process of applying foil to transform something was really cool in itself (queue lots of wows) and gave new life to my tired sunglasses case and makeup pouch (both boring black!). Sez is fab teacher, and gave clear and easy to instructions, letting us go at our own pace. I love that she sent us home with all the things to finish our items AND the bits for any touch ups if needed. Would highly recommend this class (would be a super fun addition to a girls day out).
