The way the class is structured though there is a lot of standing around and not a lot of commentary on why certain things happen- the education part of it I guess was a bit lacking. We asked questions to try stimulate a bit more but nothing really came of it.

Invited a friend along and we both had a good time, the teachers were great and it was a good experience to be both creative and hands on. Can't wait until we receive our finished pieces

We learnt how to shape and add colour to glass and the basics of creating a glass tumbler and paper weight. Our teacher Laura was so nice and efficient and helped us create very sweet looking pieces!!! It was soo hot in there so beware if you have low blood pressure very fun activity would highly recommend, will be back for sure!!!

I am not complaining, of course, it was to be expected. i just realised that I might stick to flameworking instead haha. But the facilitator was very nice and helpful throughout the experience.

He explained everything clearly and made the whole experience relaxed and really enjoyable. He is obviously a very talented glass artist himself, and it was fascinating watching him work. I came away with a beautiful handmade paperweight and drinking glass, which I’m ridiculously proud of! It was fascinating learning about the process and actually getting hands on with the glass. I would have loved the opportunity to see more of Jimmy’s own creations, perhaps through a catalogue or lookbook of his work with pieces available to order. After watching him work and seeing the level of skill involved, I would have happily taken another piece of his beautiful glasswork home with me. A really unique and memorable experience that I’d highly recommend, especially with Jimmy as your instructor. ️️️️️

For someone who is a master at this craft, to set time aside to share their knowledge and assist someone who has never dealt with glass blowing before is really admirable. There were 3 of us in the class, which went for 3 hours. All 3 of us enjoyed every minute of it.

Billy was a great teacher guiding and educating as we went through the session. Class was safe and in control. Throughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend.

Billy was extremely helpful, demonstrating everything carefully, answering all our questions, and patentiely helping as we tried our hand at glassblowing. It's a small class, so lots of attention and never felt rushed. A really worthwhile experience!

They explained the technique of glass blowing well and were very helpful when we were making our own pieces. Would highly recommend this class.

The class ran a little shorter than the three hours with just the two of us. Laura helped and guided us every step of the way and we were stoked with the results.

It was a great introduction to glassblowing and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would have preferred to have a little more involvement in the making of my pieces but can also see that this may have resulted in me producing nothing as glassblowing is a lot harder than it looks! Also, it would be greaat to have not just examples of the finished pieces we made, but also the colours as it was hard to know just how they would turn out. I think I'm in for a surprise when they are fully annealed and posted out! It was easy to redeem the gift card and the whole experience was very well organised and run. Thank you!
