To crochet can be tricky at the start but she took our fumbling in her stride and never gave up on us. Between the two of us we now know enough to get started on a basic project. I especially liked the fact that small samplers were placed in the students book with the description of the stitch used.

She also provided some beautiful food and a hot drink. The venue was perfect for the class. Somya is a lovely patient teacher and takes the time to ensure you understand before moving on to the next step. The venue was intimate and a great space to sit for the class. Somya also made it feel homely with homemade falafel and a platter of cheese, crackers & hommus. The vanilla chai tea was lovely. The materials provide (ball of wool & 4.5mm hook) were well received. Value for money. Would recommend.

The class included your own scissors, hook & yarn to use and take home, as well as notes and tips. Sumia was an extremely patient teach, very hands on & demonstrated everything as we went. She is passionate about crochet and that passion is contagious when learning in her class. I would highly recommend her class!

Teaching techniques were adapted and evolved during the course. If you are left handed - it’s good to jet your teacher know before. I will book in with Soma again happily.
