Crochet with Beads Workshop

Looking for relaxing things to do in Melbourne on your own, with your friend or part of a larger group? Join us for this jewellery workshop, designed for you to get hands-on with creativity. This one is very different from all our other jewellery workshops where you will learn how to create your very own beaded crochet jewellery to take home at the end of the session. The design and colour possibilities are endless, and we have so many ideas to help you make a personalised piece that you'll love for years to come.Go boho, casual, chunky, minimalist, after 5 or corporate style - it's your choice! Match colours and textures or deliberately mismatch and contrast to create a unique piece of hand-fabricated jewellery.This workshop is all about slowing down, leaving your cares behind, being creative for 4 hours and spending some “you” time with like-minded people while learning some of the fundamentals of jewellery design from our experienced tutor.You will learn how to do a simple crochet chain stitch, add beads and how to finish your piece, attach clasps, use jump rings, bead caps and more to achieve a professional look. Our tutor, Siobhan, will be there to support you every step of the way, so don't worry if you're new to jewellery making or crochet. With guidance, patience, and encouragement, the workshop will be a hub of creativity, laughter, and a strong sense of achievement as your unique pieces come to life.In our workshop space, you'll have access to all tools, findings and beads so you only need to bring yourselves! You are also able to upgrade to gemstones at $70 per person, pay on the day. Higher quality pearls are also available and will be per pearl strand cost, pay on the day. Of course, if you have some beads at home that are sentimental then bring them along too.Suitable for both beginners and those with some experience with crochet.Limited to up to 8 participants per session, this workshop offers an intimate setting where you can enjoy time with loved ones and allows for more quality time and attention from your experienced tutor.**Note: This class needs a minimum of two participants to proceed.Choose from the dates and times scheduled or get in touch to discuss your individual or private function needs.
