  • 5/5 from Lisa Gledhill, attended Mar 2026: Overall I loved the class. From starting at wholesaler to choose our blooms & the back to the studio for a cup of tea & selection of our vase. Then we all.got stuck into.the arrangement of our flowers. Jem was great, I appreciate a pragmatic, honest teacher but who is also helpful at the same time. Fantastic, will definitely do another course here.
  • 5/5 from Naomee Cricelli, attended Feb 2026: I had a wonderful time at Market to Masterpiece this past weekend. The workshop is an amazing tailored experience. Seeing everyone's choices and creations was surprising to me as we were all so individual, and the arrangements were still all so gorgeous! Jemina, Jorja and Jarrod really know their stuff, and go out of their way to help make the whole experience memorable and full of teaching moments. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout the workshop make it a beautiful experience also. This was my 6th class I've attended at Bloomin' Marvellous Flower School, and was such a fantastic class which I left feeling like it had been a full experience; and though I had a long drive to and from the Flower School, I felt nourished and invigorated afterwards. Thank-you so much to the whole team at the school for your thoughtfulness, kindness, help, and facilitating a wonderful Saturday for me!
  • 5/5 from Judy Clarisse, attended Oct 2025: A brilliant morning with Jemina! It was so lovely to visit the flower market to choose the flowers we wanted to use in our arrangement. Jemina was able to guide our choices while still encouraging our own style and creativity. We then headed back to the studio to work on our creations. There was a lovely vibe throughout the class and the final results were just stunning! Once again Jemina was able to give each of us guidance and attention as we worked on our arrangements. I would recommend any of her classes at Bloomin Marvellous. Such a wonderful experience.
  • 5/5 from Georgina Walton, attended Aug 2025: A lot of fun in a very relaxed environment. Thank Janina for a great class!
  • 5/5 from Lucy Rose, attended Aug 2025: What a wonderful experience. The trip to the flower market was a beautiful experience and Jem guided us all to make sure we had the correct sort of flowers and foliage to make a gorgeous display. As always, Jem was generous with her knowledge and every ready to help if struggling. It was a wonderful way to spend a dreary & cold August day! Thank you!!
  • 5/5 from Alexandra Baxter, attended Aug 2025: Great class, really enjoyed it
  • 5/5 from Anna Xia, attended Jul 2025: With the paddock to plate energy applied to floristry, we went to the flower wholesalers to pick our own and arrange a design entirely unique to our own tastes. Instead of food, we were working with flowers but not completely lost as we had handy tips and guidance from the doyenne of floristry Jemina herself. People were picking out magnolias, kale blossoms, amaranths as well as the regular roses, lisianthus and tulips. Jemima is always there to make sure everything mixed and matched well with the right vase suitable for your own arrangement. You take home a creation entirely of your own imagination and as always, everyone was happy and overjoyed. Bubbles and cuppa tea provided also!
  • 5/5 from Rachel Portelli, attended Jul 2025: Jemina was great and very knowledgeable. Gave us the confidence to make floral arrangements on our own. Going to the market was also a great opportunity to see how the process starts.
  • 5/5 from Jodie Roberts, attended Apr 2025: Thank you Jemina (Jorja & Jarrod) for an absolutely fantastic day. Going to the flower wholesaler and walking into the big cool room. It was absolutely amazing to see all those colours similar to what a kaleidoscope does to your eyes...The diversity of flowers that were on display was overwhelming however with your guidance we all chose the perfect selection for our arrangements. As you know l am a serial offender when it comes to your classes…but l did bring my sister for the first time and even she is looking to book another class… Thank you once again for a fabulous day. Warm regards Jodie

Our flower workshops are designed for those with a love of all things "Bloomin' Marvellous" with an emphasis on basic elements of design and covering a range of techniques for an appreciation of Mother nature's beautiful creations and most of all having fun with flowers.
With an illustrious career spanning over 30 years, Bloomin Marvellous Flower Schools' founder Jemina has been lucky enough to collaborate with some of the best in the business and worked on many of Melbourne’s most prestigious events including the Melbourne Grand Prix Spring Racing Carnival and the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.
Beginning her apprenticeship training at the renowned Myer Florist in the Melbourne city store to owning her own florist shop in the Mornington Peninsula at the age of 20.
Her passion for teaching was ignited when she joined the team as head teacher at Victoria Whitelaw School of Flowers. This is where the story has a new beginning, “Not everyone gets to have a career they love, I’m very lucky”. Being able to give back all that she has learnt over the years to up and coming students was very gratifying and left Jemina wanting to offer more. Jemina not only has her Certificate lll in Floristry but also attended night school to gain her Certificate lV in Training & Assessment – making her an accredited teacher.
That is when she returned to where it all began having been a floristry student at Box Hill Institute (many years before) and coming full circle by returning as a part of the teaching faculty.
December 2019 Bloomin’ Marvellous Flower School was launched Based in the leafy Melbourne suburb of Malvern, Bloomin’ Marvellous Flower School inspires people from all walks of life to celebrate the beauty of nature, have fun with flowers and take a moment to (quite literally) stop and smell the roses.
For Jemina, the biggest reward is seeing the smiles that transform her students’ faces after they’ve assembled their first bouquet – so pop into her light-filled studio and find some joy as you learn to arrange your own.
