Slow stitching is a mindful approach to hand sewing that uses repurposed materials and prioritises relaxation over perfection.
Using fabric scraps, embroidery thread, lace, buttons, and textured materials, you’ll create your own unique slow-stitched piece while learning simple stitching techniques in a relaxed and welcoming space.
Perfect for beginners or anyone craving a cosy, creative outlet, this workshop is designed for slowing down and focusing on process over perfection. Come and enjoy the benefits of working with your hands, socialising, unwinding, and creating something meaningful.
All materials and light supper included. Suitable for teens and adults.

A Little Artsy
A Little Artsy

female Women-owned

Hi, my name is Kim- I'm a registered Art Therapist based in Melbourne’s south east, and the owner of A Little Artsy.
I have enjoyed working with people of all ages in schools, hospitals, workplaces and community programs and now within my own gorgeous little studio space. Over the years, I’ve seen the incredible way creativity can build confidence, connection, self-expression and joy.
While I absolutely love the process of art making, what I love even more is bringing people together... creating spaces where people can relax, connect, share ideas, explore their creativity and simply enjoy making something meaningful.
I truly believe art is healing for the soul. Whether we’re painting, creating, laughing, experimenting or getting a little messy, creativity has a beautiful way of helping people feel calm, connected and more themselves.
My workshops are designed to be warm, welcoming and pressure-free — focused on fun, creativity and the magic that happens when people come together to create.
