I’m Ashleigh, founder of Con Cariño — a pop-up makers bar for the playful, the sentimental, and the beautifully chaotic. Based in the south-eastern suburbs of Naarm/Melbourne, Con Cariño grew from my love of teaching, travelling, and bringing people together through creativity.After spending two years travelling the world, it became clear to me that feel-good memories were always rooted in connection and play. Spaces to slow down, create freely, and enjoy the process without pressure.I also have 15 years of experience in education, and I am still casually teaching while raising my baby. I love teaching because I love learning. Everyone brings a story, a perspective, a skill, or a spark, and I’m endlessly inspired by what unfolds when people are given the space to create together.Finally, sustainability is at the heart of Con Cariño. All materials are locally sourced or rescued second-hand, giving forgotten pieces a new lease on life and helping you create something unique. I hope to create something meaningful together.
