Looking for a relaxing and therapeutic activity in Melbourne? Come to Heer Tea for two hours of focused, peaceful, hands-on creativity!
Our mini pottery wheel workshop is designed for those who want to freely explore and create at their own pace — no pressure, no rules, just the gentle touch of clay flowing through your fingers.
During these two hours, you’ll enjoy your own creative rhythm:
  • The instructor will kindly introduce the basics of the pottery wheel, after which it’s your time to take the lead.
  • The teacher will be quietly nearby offering support when needed, without interrupting your creative flow.
  • Feel free to experiment with different techniques, slowly experience the forming process of the clay, and fully immerse yourself in the moment.
Before the session ends, the teacher will help remove your piece from the wheel and everyone will tidy up the work area together.
Important note:
This session is a pure experience class. The fee covers only the venue, equipment and basic guidance (printed learning materials are available).
Friendly reminder:
Pottery is full of surprises, but the firing process involves natural uncertainties.
While the teacher provides full support, pieces may still crack due to moisture or firing conditions.
If damage occurs due to kiln or technical error, we will resolve it appropriately; no refunds can be provided for natural cracking.
Thank you for your understanding — let’s enjoy this warm and creative time together!

Heer Tea – Where Tradition Meets Creativity
Nestled near Box Hill, Heer Tea is not just a cafe—it’s an immersive experience where tea culture, mixology, and art come together. We take you beyond the ordinary with a menu that blends tradition and innovation, featuring signature drinks like Chinese tea-infused cocktails and authentic matcha creations.
Our teaching team brings 9 years of expertise in the tea education and ceremonies performance, along with over 5 years in incense crafting and fragrance studies. Passionate about innovating through East-West cultural fusion, we now weave this knowledge into our café—where every cup and scent tells a story of tradition meets creativity.
More than a cafe, Heer Tea is a place for inspiration, relaxation, and cultural connection—where every sip and every stroke tells a story.
