Hi there, beautiful souls! I’m Sonia, the founder of Birds of a Feather, and I am so incredibly excited to welcome you into my creative world. With a degree in Graphic Design and a deep passion for the healing, mindful nature of art, I launched Birds of a Feather back in 2014. For over a decade now, I have been hand-adorning and selling premium fedora hats and bespoke feather accessories at vibrant markets and festivals across Australia. Over the years, after connecting with thousands of wonderful people who would constantly ask me, “How did you make this beautiful thing?” I realized my true calling wasn't just to make art—it was to help you uncover your creativity. I’ve always believed that creative expression has a wonderful way of bringing people together, and that everyone is creative when they are given the freedom and encouragement to explore.My mission is simply to provide a warm, welcoming platform where you can step out of the worries of day-to-day life, slow down, and tap into your innate creative abilities. Whether you've joined me for a sacred Feather Wand making workshop at a major festival or are stepping into our light-filled Hampton Studio for our signature Burn & Bloom Hat Burning Workshop, you are in for a deeply rewarding experience.
