What you'll get
Kids will develop mosaic, glass fusing and ceramic painting skills. They will experience mindfulness, gain confidence, socialise (if they choose), and enjoy the experience. They will also take home their pieces once completed.

Knowledge required
No knowledge required. Kids must have the muscle strength to cut their tiles. If your child is keen and is seven-years-old, they should come in and try it out. Or attend with an adult.
What to bring
- If your child has a project or idea in mind, they should contact the teacher prior to the workshop to discuss. We like to get kids going at their first session and sometimes pre-planning is required.
- If you want to wear safety glasses or your child to wear safety glasses, you can bring your own or purchase them here online

Merryl’s Mosaics and Glass Studio is a mosaic and glass fusing studio where people of all ages come to experience the wonderful world of glass art. We run adult classes, specialised workshops and casual sessions, team building workshops and corporate events in either mosaic or glass fusing. We also offer kids classes, casual sessions and holiday programs. You don’t need any experience to attend. We have great, well-trained and friendly staff who will help you with your creations. We have a great, arty studio. Come and enjoy the creative, relaxing and therapeutic experience of working with glass in an arty, colourful environment.
