female Women-owned

I’m Anita Robin, a Swiss-born and Swiss-trained chef and teacher, and I’d love to welcome you into my kitchen in Goolwa on South Australia’s beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula.
My culinary journey has taken me across Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. Along the way, I’ve explored different flavours, techniques, and food traditions—experiences that still inspire what I cook and share today. My kitchen brings together my Swiss heritage, international influences and the wonderful seasonal produce available here in South Australia.
For me, cooking is about much more than following a recipe. It’s about getting your hands into the dough, discovering why a technique works and having that wonderful moment when you think, “I made this!”
That’s what I love about teaching: helping people build the confidence to try something new and enjoy the process. Whether you’re a beginner or an enthusiastic home cook, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, experimenting and making the recipes your own.
My classes are deliberately small, so you’ll have plenty of personal guidance. Together, we might shape fresh bread, discover the art of pastry or prepare a gourmet meal with local wine. Then comes one of my favourite parts: sitting down together to enjoy what we’ve created. You’ll leave with recipes, practical skills and inspiration for your own kitchen.
Caring for our surroundings is also part of how I work. I use seasonal, locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, reduce food waste, and minimise single-use plastics. My business also makes a small monthly contribution towards restoring habitat in the Adelaide Hills.
And there’s one more member of the welcoming committee: Jem, my friendly Border Collie, who is always happy to meet a new face!
Come with curiosity and an appetite—I look forward to sharing my kitchen with you.
