What you'll do
Looking for a unique, creative activity for your next event? My watercolour workshops can be booked for private groups and events such as Hens days and birthdays, and are a great way to learn a new skill and have fun with watercolour.Imagine sitting around the table with your friends or team in a relaxed, fun, creative environment as you each work on your pieces. It's a lovely way to spend a few hours! Available in Brunswick at Studio Take Care, or I can come to you!Studio Take Care is just off Lygon St in Brunswick, a beautiful space full of creative vibes. Bookings here are subject to their availability. Whether you are hosting your event at a house, garden, workplace or different venue, I can set up wherever you like! (within 50km / 1hr drive of Brunswick).Food and drink are welcome at the venue too, as are your own decorations!In this 2hr class, we will start by learning the basics of watercolour and creating some practice exercises, before moving into your chosen theme - either Intro to Florals or Intro to Landscapes. Everyone will leave with a finished piece to take home!The classes are completely beginner friendly, no painting or drawing experience necessary!I hope you'll join me for your special day!

Your teacher
I'm Ellen, a watercolour artist and designer based in Melbourne. I started my own watercolour stationery brand - Ellen Walsh Designs - in 2018, primarily focusing on designing greeting cards. Now I have over 150 cards in the range, and sell to stores all over Australia as well as on my own website and at major design markets. From here, customers and instagram friends started asking for workshops to also learn the magic of watercolour, and here we are! I started teaching watercolour workshops last year, and absolutely love it, seeing the joy, serenity and creativity it brings to the participants. I would love for you to experience this too!
