Recent reviews of Sip and Paint Class with Paella: Ghost Gums in the Mist
- 5/5 from Rebecca Warburton, attended Sep 2025: I really enjoyed this class. Nikki is a fantastic teacher who really spends time guiding you through the process of developing your piece. I am a complete novice and I walked away feeling so proud of my achievement.
- 5/5 from Gill Wightman, attended Feb 2025: Loved every second of it! Nikki took us through all the elements of the painting explaining each step of the process allowing "happy accidents" and encouraging free expression to make the painting our own unique work of art. Very pleased with the results, learnt a lot and will definitely be going again! Thank you Senorita Nikki!
- 5/5 from Peta Fowler, attended Sep 2024: Great concept, good value for money, completely unpretentious! Lovely hostess, great teacher, moody parrot and absolutely beautiful pupster. A lovely day in positive situation it was a lot of fun even when you are challenged. And my special needs were catered for. I enjoyed the session and I look forward to another session.
- 5/5 from Stephanie Symes, attended Sep 2024: Clear instructions. Very friendly atmosphere. Being able to take home a finished (or near finished) painting. Great for all from beginners to more experienced painters. Nice lunch.
- 5/5 from Nicole McCarthy, attended Sep 2024: Nikki is an amazing teacher, so patient, relaxed and welcoming. I have never really painted before and even I managed to paint a picture that looked like it was meant to. Very happy and I will be back for more classes
- 5/5 from Helen Halliday, attended Apr 2024: The teacher, Nikki, was very clear and helpful showing us step by step and assisting where necessary. Her enthusiasm for her painting was catching. The venue was well set up with all the materials provided. Lunch and drinks were provided with ample champagne and sangria as well as tea and coffee. The paella was tasty and there was also soup for those who wanted it. Some of the paintbrushes were well worn and should be replaced as they made it difficult to to achieve fine results. I learnt new techniques for acrylics which I am keen to try again. This was a gift for me but I think that the amount of time we had to paint would definitely be good value.
- 5/5 from R Ismail, attended Oct 2022: Great session and company as always. Love the outcome. Front and centre in the living room wall. Always look forward to more session with Senorita Art
- 5/5 from Jan Watson, attended Oct 2022: Another great day with 'Senorita Nikki'. Great atmosphere and a fab paella! Thank you! Would highly recommend.
- 5/5 from Bron Bell, attended Oct 2022: Excellent day - patient experienced teacher Nikki making it fun always. Very encouraging and straightforward to follow - step by step techniques and use of medium. Excited to go again.
Your teacher
The Senoritas' Art Workshop started in 2019 when Nikki Carter invited 5 friends to come to a full day workshop who had never painted. They all painted amazing paintings and proved that all you need is an Art Guide or Instructor to help you with each step of the painting and someone to help make you brave! Nikki paints every day, working with students and commissions, her passion for painting, colour and fun inspires first-time painters. Nikki finds that astonishing results are achieved from people that don't think they can draw or paint!
