  • 5/5 from Ruby Chan, attended May 2026: Great class for beginners. The two mweo-nagers are absolutely adorable and Nathan is extremely talented and patient, especially when considering my friend and I's chaos and absolute lack of pottery skills. Highly recommend.
  • 5/5 from Luca Haar, attended Apr 2026: Great instructor, very helpful. Bring a Telfast if you’re allergic to cats, they are super friendly and deserve your affection.
  • 5/5 from Lauren Farrugia, attended Apr 2026: Had a fantastic time. It was a lot harder than we thought but Nathan was very patient we us and helped us when we asked. Great experience 10/10
  • 4/5 from Steve Finlow, attended Apr 2026: The class was good fun, and our teacher, Nathan, was attentive and knowledgeable. The cats Kiki and Tiki were also very friendly and entertaining. We made 2 pots from scratch, and 1 was included in the price of the course, and the other was extra, but you did not have to buy it. My only downside is the wheels and stool are very low, so a problem if you have back or knee issues.
  • 5/5 from Sylvia Kauer, attended Mar 2026: We had a great time. Nathan is a great teacher, and so helpful. We learnt that wheel throwing takes some serious skills and practice! Nevertheless with Nathan’s help, we made some perfectly adequate bowls. The cats were cute too, they were kind and not as judgemental as some other cats I know!

  • 5/5 from Jessicarose Densham, attended Dec 2025: Teacher Nathan was very good! Patient and able to explain each stage well and give advice but also step in and assist in getting it back on track when a wobble occurred! Made a cup and a small bowl and I went for the option to get the second piece fired (only $10 extra) and its choice of blue/green/pink glazes I got a gift card for this and it didn’t cover the second piece but I was able to use it very easily and then pay the difference online when I booked, but the option is also offered at the end of the class if you want to have the second one fired and glazed and just pay on the day Also the cats were so adorable and wandered around a little during the class and we were able to pet them at the end (after washing the clay off our hands haha)

Essy location to get to in Hawthorn East, just near Rivoli cinemas, and you can alsi go in there and paint pottery which I want to do at some point. The cats wandering around the place were an amazing bonus to the wheel throwing! Highly recommend this! Thank you, Nathan and kitties!
  • 5/5 from Rosie, attended Oct 2025: Great beginner class with only 4 people which was great. Our teacher went at a nice pace and was very helpful. We got to make 2 things and it is only $10 to get the second one fired and glazed.
