Ceramic Decorating Workshop: Whales

Decorate your own pottery with whale-themed transfers!

2 hours Class size 1 to 15 guests

$149 (Afterpay available)

Join Amy from Deep Blue Ceramics in a whale-inspired pottery workshop in Canberra.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will learn how to make and decorate a platter, bowl and small dish with whale underglaze transfer. You will also have the option of painting your creations with underglaze paints.
After the workshop, Amy will take your creations back to the studio to dry, be fired and clear glazes and fired again before you can collect them approximately 3-4 weeks later.
These transfers were made and produced by the very talented Jasmine from Coastal Studio Ceramics, who we’ve purchased them from especially for this workshop. The images used are gratefully used with permission from Jasmine.

Amy is hands and heart behind Deep Blue Ceramics.
Devoid of creativity for much of her previous professional life she fell head first into Ceramics; learning, making, sharing and teaching, all after falling in love with a handmade mug purchased at a market.
Amy's classes are welcoming and supportive, beginner friendly one of experiences through to term length courses for intermediate potters. She loves to share #clayplay with individuals and private groups alike!
At Deep Blue Ceramics we're deeply passionate about the environment and social justice issues and strive to make a positive impact wherever we can.
