Ceramic Hand-Building Class - Make Something for Your Home

Join us for this fun hand-building ceramic class where you will make your own unique and functional items for your home with an expert ceramicist. What you can make is endless. This can include dinnerware like mugs, plates and bowls, serveware like platters and jugs, decorative tableware like candle holders and cake stands. Whether you're taking your first steps in ceramics or seeking to refine your expertise with a new outcome or purpose, this workshop caters to all skill levels.Our one-day class is for students who want to learn to create unique, yet functional ceramic pieces with like-minded makers, in an educational and fun environment. In this class, you will gain proficiency in utilising ceramic tools and clay effectively to sculpt your own ceramic pieces. All work from this session will be glazed clear to show the neutral and beautiful colour of the clay of your choice. The items will and food and wash safe.Once finished, the work/s will then undergo firing and will be ready to collect in 4 weeks' time.This one-off class can also come to you for any event! Team building, Hens day or birthday party? This class can travel to your home or venue! From Melbourne CBD to the outer east! In this case your work will be delivered back to the event organiser and the participants can collect the work from the one location 6 weeks after the event.

All skill levels are welcome. We can develop and enhance your existing ceramic skills or inspire a love of hand-building in enthusiastic beginners.
  There are no hidden costs for our workshops. The use of tools, clay, glaze, and firing costs are included in your workshop price. You will get to take home your functional pieces 4 weeks after the workshop.
  We suggest that you wear clothes and shoes that you won’t mind getting some clay on. All clay should come out in the wash, but it is best not to wear your favourite items!
