What you'll do
Join us for this fun hand building ceramic workshop in Melbourne where you will build your own candelabra with an expert ceramicist. Whether you're taking your first steps in ceramics or seeking to refine your expertise, this one-day workshop caters to all skill levels.Our pottery class is for students who want to learn to create a hybrid of sculptural and functional ceramic artworks with like-minded makers, in an educational and fun environment.No matter what experience you have, we can help develop and enhance your existing ceramic skills or inspire a love of hand building in enthusiastic beginners.During this workshop, you will gain proficiency in using ceramic tools and clay effectively to sculpt your own ceramic forms. Once finished, the candelabra will then undergo firing and will be ready to collect in four weeks' time.This one-off class can also come to you for any event! Team building, Hens day or birthday party? This class can travel to your home or venue! From Melbourne CBD to the outer east! In this case your work will be delivered back to the event organiser and the participants can collect the work from the one location 6 weeks after the event.

What you'll get
There are no hidden costs for our workshops. All clay, the use of tools, and firing costs are included in your workshop price. You will get to take home your candelabra one month after the second workshop.
What to bring
- We suggest that you wear clothes and shoes that you won’t mind getting some clay on. All clay should come out in the wash but it is best not to wear your favourite items!
- Short nails are best for hand building sessions.

Location
The Studio at No. 2 - 2 Hewish Road, Croydon VIC
Students can drive and park in front of the studio with free parking offered by the council on a Sunday. Alternatively, the venue is 120m away from Croydon Station and is a quick two minute walk if you are getting public transport.
Your teacher can also travel within 15 kms of Croydon, to a venue of your choice for a private class
