What ages are your parties suitable for?
Our creative parties are designed for school-aged children, with activities thoughtfully selected to suit the age and abilities of the group. Children under 15 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
What creative activity will the children do?
Each party features a guided creative activity chosen to suit the age group. Activities may include imaginative mixed-media projects, collage, wearable creations or other hands-on crafts. Children are encouraged to personalise their creations, so everyone's finished piece will be uniquely their own!
How many children can attend?
Our parties accommodate a maximum of 10 children. Keeping groups small allows us to provide personal guidance and create a relaxed, enjoyable experience for everyone.
Do you provide food and birthday cake?
You're welcome to bring your own food, drinks and birthday cake. Catering isn't included in the party price, but tea-making facilities are available at the studio.
Can we bring decorations?
You're welcome to bring a few decorations to personalise the celebration. Please discuss your plans with us beforehand so we can make sure they're suitable for the studio space.
Do parents need to stay?
A responsible adult must remain with children under 15 throughout the party. Parents and carers are welcome to enjoy the celebration alongside the children.
Do the children need any creative experience?
Not at all! Our activities are designed for all abilities, with friendly guidance and plenty of encouragement. The focus is on enjoying the process rather than creating something perfect.
Is the studio wheelchair accessible?

I’m a creative workshop facilitator and the founder of The Joyful Creative, a studio dedicated to nurturing creativity as an everyday wellbeing practice.For many years I’ve taught textile crafts, mixed media and mindful creativity to children, adults and people with additional needs. I love creating welcoming, inclusive workshops where everyone feels comfortable to explore and make, regardless of their experience level.My teaching style focuses on the joy of the creative process rather than the pressure of perfect outcomes.
