What you'll do
Are you on the hunt for the best things to do in Sydney with kids? Experience a hands-on creative experience at this clay and painting workshop for kids in Paddington.
Kids will be guided to create their very own unique cactus sculpture using air-dry clay and other materials. In this class, they will learn how to build an armature as the basis of their design, create a composition and cover it with clay. Finer details and textures will be added and they will design a pot for the cactus using paint pens and markers.
Next up we will create a stunning nighttime painting on canvas. This will be a step by step guided artwork using high-quality acrylic paints and brushes. Kids will focus on colour mixing, complementary colours and tints and shades.

My name is Jen and I am passionate about encouraging creativity in students of all ages.
Creative Kids Co was founded 11 years ago as a way to encourage and guide children through their own artistic journeys.
I am also the co-creator of IMOK (Art, T-shirts & Design), established in 2004, which opened up the door to commission and exhibit my own artworks, complete illustrations for a series of books, as well as sell my wares at design markets nationwide. I have also held live art demonstrations and was the featured artist with US Surf/Skate Company Volcom.
My current passion is working with resin and urban illustration and I can’t wait to share this journey with you.
