What you'll do
Unleash your tween's creativity in the super fun hands-on workshop at Creative Corner Studio in Dulwich Hill.
Kids will learn the art of acrylic paint pouring and tie-dying as they explore their creativity with colours. All skill levels are welcome! A friendly instructor will guide your kids through the creative processes and ensure they're set up for success.
First, kids will create their very own decorative Fluid Bunny or Bear (depending on availability). A wide range of fluid colours will be available to select from to create unique and mesmerising patterns.
Then, as their paint-poured animals are left to dry, they will tie-dye their very own pillowcase. Kids will learn different folding and twisting techniques to achieve incredible colourful designs that are right on-trend. Kids are also encouraged to bring along a pair of socks to unleash a rainbow of colour on!
At the end of the class, everyone will take home their beautiful colourful creations and the skills to continue the fun at home!
Please note, we only use Sunshine Dyes which are non-toxic, environmentally friendly, child-safe and made on the gorgeous Gold Coast.
Please note: this class requires a minimum number of children to run.
This workshop is also open for parent and child to do together, with on separate pieces.

My name is Jen and I am passionate about encouraging creativity in students of all ages.
Creative Kids Co was founded 11 years ago as a way to encourage and guide children through their own artistic journeys.
I am also the co-creator of IMOK (Art, T-shirts & Design), established in 2004, which opened up the door to commission and exhibit my own artworks, complete illustrations for a series of books, as well as sell my wares at design markets nationwide. I have also held live art demonstrations and was the featured artist with US Surf/Skate Company Volcom.
My current passion is working with resin and urban illustration.
Most recently I have opened Creative Corner Studio in Dulwich Hill, an exciting space hosting all things creative for kids and adults. Reach out and let’s create together.
