Looking for new and creative things to do in Melbourne with friends? Join this polymer clay workshop and sip a glass of wine or cup of tea/coffee.

Our clay and sip air dry polymer classes are kept small, with a maximum of four students aged over 18 years, to keep it personal and relaxed.

Guided by an experienced polymer clay instructor, Olga, you will learn how to turn clay into realistic flowers with just your hands and have fun in the process, all while enjoying a glass of wine.

By the end of the class, you would have created your own bouquet of hydrangeas in a small vase. You will pick it up your vase straight after the class, because we do not need to bake this polymer clay - it will only need to dry for a couple of hours.

This Melbourne workshop is perfect if you're on the search for casual team-building activities, relaxed hens party ideas or mindful birthday gift ideas for that special someone.

Get your group ready to play with clay!

Hi,
My name is Olga.
I will teach you how to make realistic flowers from soft and air dry polymer clay.

I use clay as a way to decompress and relax and have an awesome time playing with this soft and nice material.

It's fun and easy to use, so once you know what you're doing.
Join me in a class to get lots of helpful tips and advice, plus a few giggles along the way!

Little bit about me:
I studied web design and graphic design in New Zealand, and spent 6 years studying the sculpting flowers from polymer clay.
After 9 years in New Zealand I recently decided to relocate to Melbourne.

For last 3 years I used to teach children and adults how to create the beautiful creatures (and not only flowers) from air dry polymer clay in Auckland.

When I first came across the artwork made from air dry polymer clay, I fell in love with the natural, organic and feminine forms that could be created.

I've long been fascinated with the inspiration behind other artists' work, especially when their artistic creations so clearly mimic natural surroundings.

And now I know, it is possible to make for anyone even if a person has never tried it before.

The material is soft and pleasant, so you will enjoy the process, it is like a meditation.

Unlike other clays that need baked, this soft clay will air dry to a firm consistency in 24 hours.
A Revolutionary type of non-toxic clay that is light weight, smooth and pliable.
Not fragile.

I hope you will enjoy the process.

Thanks
Olga
