  $25 - $35 ($25 for Weekdays; $35 for Weekends) (PayPal Pay in 4 available)

This Clay Session is a gentle, grounding experience designed to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself and support your wellbeing. Through the mindful act of shaping and moving clay with your hands, you’re invited to release tension, be fully present, and enjoy a moment of quiet self-care.
There’s no pressure to create anything specific. This is your time to pause, play and let your hands lead the way—simply enjoying the joy of being in the moment with clay.
The idea behind Clay Sessions
Clay Sessions were created from a deep understanding of how soothing and accessible clay can be. They’re not just for people who want to make a finished ceramic piece, but for anyone who needs space to breathe, slow down and relax.
Clay becomes a tool for presence—supporting mindfulness, gentle self-expression and relaxation—without expectations or outcomes.
About this experience
This is a process-focused session, not a traditional ceramic class. The emphasis is on the experience of working with clay rather than creating a perfect object.
You’ll explore clay in a playful, tactile way—feeling its texture, noticing the movement of your hands, and allowing yourself to experiment freely.
There’s no requirement to make or keep anything. Simply being with the clay is enough.
The session encourages presence and sensory awareness, helping you release tension, slow your breath and reconnect with yourself in a calm, supportive environment.
If something meaningful does emerge and you’d like to keep it, your clay piece can be professionally fired and finished after the session.
Clay Sessions offer a safe, relaxed space where creativity, rest and self-connection are valued over results.
Designed for 10–15 participants, these sessions are ideal for friends and social groups, team or workplace wellbeing activities, birthday celebrations and special events, school or childcare programs, aged care activities, and community and wellbeing gatherings.
NDIS-friendly and accessible.

Hi, I’m Michelle, the hands and heart behind MMC Ceramics. My mission is simple: to make touching clay accessible and affordable for everyone, giving each person the chance to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and enjoy the grounding joy of clay.
My journey began long before clay entered my life. I grew up drawn to movement, touch, and creative expression, exploring dance, music, painting, and hands-on crafts. I studied nursing at the University of São Paulo – Ribeirão Preto, earning a Bachelor’s and Teaching Diploma, and have always been passionate about alternative therapies that combine Western and Eastern approaches to wellbeing.
Along the way, I explored many ways to help people reduce stress, connect with their bodies, and nurture mental health—from teaching belly dance to participating in projects on stress reduction for university students. I also researched and wrote about “Rescuing Memories of Elderly People with Alzheimer’s Through Music”, guided by Profa. Dra. Rosalina Aparecida Partezani Rodrigues.
In 2021, clay came into my life, and it felt like everything I had been seeking finally came together: slowness, grounding, texture, and a hands-on way to reconnect with myself. In 2023, I turned my passion into MMC Ceramics, first selling my handmade pieces and guiding workshops. Over time, I realized clay could be accessible to everyone—not just those aiming for a finished piece, but anyone seeking a moment to breathe, slow down, and be present.
This realization inspired Clay Sessions, gentle, hands-on experiences where the process matters more than the outcome. You don’t need to create anything specific; touching, shaping, and moving clay is enough to release tension, nurture wellbeing, and enjoy the present moment. And if you do create something meaningful, I’m happy to transform your piece into a finished ceramic.
Through MMC Ceramics, I invite everyone to explore, play, and reconnect—whether in workshops, Clay Sessions, or custom creations. Every session, every workshop, every shared moment at the studio is rooted in the belief that creativity, presence, and hands-on experience are powerful tools for wellbeing. I’d love to welcome you into this space and share the joy and grounding magic of clay with you.
